Wild flowers

I wasn’t really looking forward to today’s training session as it rained non-stop yesterday and it is forecast to be wet for the next couple of days, however, the fields and woodland were looking so green. Our trainer also pointed out some wild orchids, which were so delicate and beautiful I thought I’d share them with you…

They are the Common Spotted-orchid, Dactylorhiza fuchsii, and found across Britain.

They were a reminder that even on grey, wet days you can find joy and beauty.
