Self care

Everyone loves to be pampered and Little Miss is no exception, so this morning I left a little treat for her….

After six weeks of remote schooling (and more ahead) we have had our fair share of fun and tears while trying to complete the tasks set by school, so I thought it would be nice to do something different as we rarely seem to have time to do girly things together.

Luckily for me Little Miss wanted to return the favour, therefore I was also treated to a pedicure, lucky me!

We both enjoy baking, so Little Miss also got to put her maths and reading skills to good use as she read the recipe, method and weighed the ingredients to help make a Victoria Sponge for our afternoon tea. It was a hit with all of the family and isn’t difficult to make, so should you fancy giving it a try click here for the recipe.

With happy toes and tummy I was reminded how important it is to take time out to relax and do the things you enjoy with those you love, the floors didn’t get mopped as planned, however with no guests allowed due to Covid the floors can wait as I’d much rather have fun with my little girl who is growing up way too fast.

I hope during these strange times you are also able to indulge yourself in some self care too, if not a happy heart is a healthy one, so ensure you look after yourself as well as others.

Stay safe and well🌈💓
